About Us

The Snyder County Historical Society was founded in 1898 to bring the rich history to the citizens of Snyder County. Today the organization continues that endeavor with a library and museum boasting hundreds of reference materials of family genealogy and local histories; as well as, historical artifacts from Snyder County.
